TEDS takes a two-prong approach to grant research for funding opportunities - broad based and goal specific. Targeted research methodologies are applied to identify appropriate funding opportunities, as well as complete, cost-effective support throughout the grant writing process. Winning proposals are developed.

 

Grant Research

Under the broad based approach, TEDS regularly reviews federal, state and private funding sources for notices of fund availability or request for proposals in line with the clients’ current funding objectives. Opportunities for inter-agency collaborations are also highlighted.

 

Under the goal specific approach, once the agency has identified a specific project and/or funding priority, TEDS applies targeted research methodologies to identify appropriate funding opportunities. All identified opportunities would be forward to the agency with a funding overview and recommendations to proceed.

Research also encompasses identifying emerging industries, New York State and Federal trends, opportunities for innovation, collaboration and leveraging funding. TEDS has demonstrated practical experience with research and development of grant-funded projects including interagency and inter-municipal collaborations.

Grant Writing

TEDS specializes in complete, cost-effective support throughout the grant writing process. Winning proposals are developed and include federal, state and local government grants, as well as foundation/corporate grants. Specific services include preparation of letters of inquiry, project and program development, grant preparation, securing corporate sponsorships, negotiation and preparation of supporting agreements and documentation and securing letters of support.
